On Thursday, June 2, 2011, at their annual meeting held at the Florida Coastal School of law, the membership of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association elected me as their president-Elect for the 2012-2013 year. I am proud to have been accorded this opportunity to serve the Perkins Bar.
By way of background, the mission of the D. W. Perkins Bar Association is to be a change agent to improve the plight of the African-American Community and to erase all affects of past and present discrimination.
